I often visited Međugorje, alone or with my family, and each time I was filled with joy and peace. Last year a shared pilgrimage was organised, and in my heart I felt the Lord calling me to go too.
That pilgrimage was particularly grace-filled, with fellowship and mutual help in carrying life's crosses. I was especially moved on Apparition Hill when I saw young men from Cenacolo carrying people who could not climb on their own.
Their smiles and the joy in their eyes left a deep impression on my heart. I understood it as a message for me: I too should help others, offer a hand, a smile or a hug to someone in need of comfort.
I returned home joyful, filled with love and gratitude.
